A deceptively simple game where you collect resources, build roads, build towns and cities and try to make your colony thrive so that you will be recognized as the governor of the entire island of Catan.
This game started the Eurogames craze in the United States circa 1995.
There are many game expansions and similar trading games using the Catan name.
